Students at Josh Kastleman Drum Lessons in Tooele County Utah continue building their musical skills and confidence by recording new songs in the studio during their drum lessons. Carter, Erik, Isaac, and Kohler each recently completed exciting new performances featuring rock and alternative hits that challenged their timing, coordination, endurance, and creativity behind the drum set.
Carter and Isaac both recorded “Dirty Little Secret” by The All-American Rejects, one of the most recognizable alternative rock songs of the 2000s. Released in 2005 on the band’s album “Move Along,” the song became a major hit because of its catchy hooks, energetic drumming, and emotional intensity. Original drummer Chris Gaylor helped define the song’s driving feel with tight grooves and consistent energy that still make it popular among drummers today.
