The song was featured on his debut album of the same name and reached the top of the charts in numerous countries. What Happens During Weekly Drum Lessons? Each weekly 30-minute drum lesson is designed to keep students motivated while helping them continually improve. Students learn songs from artists they enjoy that match their current skill level. During lessons, the student and teacher review sections that need improvement and work through challenges together. Learning songs that students actually want to play helps keep them excited to practice between lessons. Once a student has mastered a song, they have the opportunity to create a professional in-studio recording using high-tech multi-camera live recording equipment. The recording process only takes a few minutes and gives students a fun goal to work toward. After completing their recording, students receive a band sticker representing the song they learned and add it to their growing collection. The student and teacher then select a new song based on the skills the student wants to develop and the music that motivates them to practice. The new song is printed, added to the student's binder, and introduced together during the lesson. If time remains, students continue progressing through the Drums In Color curriculum. Students learn new drum beats, fills, coordination exercises, music reading skills, and rudiments while advancing through the method books. Students earn reward stickers for completing chapters and reward points for learning songs and completing lessons in the method book. Reward points can be redeemed for band posters and canvas prints.
