Support All Week — Not Just During Lessons

Most drum lessons follow the same pattern: you meet once a week, learn something new, and then you’re on your own until the next lesson. While that can work, it often slows progress and leaves students guessing if they’re practicing the right way.

That’s why I do things differently.

All of my students have access to Josh throughout the entire week using the Marco Polo app. This allows both student and teacher to send video messages back and forth anytime, creating an ongoing coaching experience instead of just a once-a-week lesson.

If you’re working on a song and want to make sure you’re playing it correctly, you can send Josh a quick video. If you get stuck on something in your method book, he'll respond with a personalized video showing you exactly how to fix it. Josh reviews student videos and messages every morning and will respond the same day. If there is more questions Josh will respond each morning with a video or chat message. Instead of waiting till your next lesson for answers, you can keep moving forward.

This kind of access makes a huge difference.

Students build confidence faster because they know they’re practicing correctly. They stay more motivated because they’re not stuck or frustrated between lessons. And most importantly, they improve much quicker because they’re getting consistent feedback all week long—not just during their scheduled lesson time.
