Edgie's awesome performance of "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor with Drum Lessons Near Me
Here at Josh Kastleman Drum Lessons in Stansbury Park, students from all over Tooele County in Utah are thriving in our unique drum program. One of our newer students, Edgie, just completed an awesome performance of "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. 🥁 This iconic song has some challenging parts, and Edgie did an incredible job sticking with it and nailing the entire track!
Survivor’s drummer, Marc Droubay, is known for his powerful and energetic drumming style, which drives the song’s infectious rhythm. His work on "Eye of the Tiger" showcases his ability to balance forceful beats with precise timing, making it an unforgettable anthem.
Edgie recorded his version of the song in the studio in just one take! The setup, sound check, and recording took only about 10 minutes, and he knocked it out of the park. Now he's working on his next song, so stay tuned for another impressive performance!
Our students not only get to learn from an experienced drum teacher, but they also get to experience the Drums In Color learning system, which has been a game-changer. Here's why students love it:
Color-coded notation makes reading music easier and more engaging.
It helps with faster progression, especially for visual learners.
The system is both fun and effective, keeping students motivated to practice more often.
Students in our program also get the chance to perform both in studio and live at recitals, earning band stickers for their binders as they progress. We’re proud to be the premier drum studio in Utah, attracting students from West Valley, Magna, Lake Point, Grantsville, Tooele, Erda, and beyond!
